About me
About the Artist
Hello, I’m Lula Beno — an illustrator, designer, and maker living in California. I create art inspired by nature, quiet moments, and the small magic found in everyday life.
My work often blends traditional drawing aesthetics with digital tools. I especially love the look of colored pencils, soft textures, and natural palettes. Many of my illustrations are inspired by animals, gardens, forests, and the calm rhythm of living close to nature.
I studied graphic design and have worked with visual storytelling for many years. Today my creative practice includes illustration, handmade objects, laser-cut designs, and small art collections. I enjoy experimenting with materials and techniques, from digital illustration to wood engraving and hand-drawn sketches.
Animals are a big part of my life and my inspiration. I share my home with dogs, cats, and other small companions, and they often become the subjects of my artwork. Pet portraits are one of my favorite ways to capture personality and emotion through drawing.
Through this blog I share my creative projects, experiments, and ideas about slow living, art, and working with natural inspiration. My goal is to create things that feel warm, personal, and timeless.
Thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet.
