Spring has arrived, which means it’s the perfect time to sow seeds, plant seedlings, and set trees. Have you set up automatic watering yet? Do you have enough soil and fertilizers?
You can create your own little garden even on a balcony, just remember a few rules: It shouldn’t be on the north side; if it’s on the south, some shading is necessary. You can grow green onions, beautiful flowers like petunias, or cherry tomatoes. Don’t forget about spicy little peppers and green peas. All these plants thrive in large pots. For instance, when we lived in an apartment, our tomato plant bore fruit for two years.
I’ve been living in my own house for four years now, with a bit of land for growing home vegetables. This year, I’ve already planted 4 zucchini plants, 6 tomato bushes, 8 cucumber vines, and 4 sweet peppers. Additionally, I bought some small onions and planted them in rows, with sunflowers sown between the rows. That’s all for now, but even this small garden allowed me to make 2 gallons of tomato sauce with basil last year, and harvest about 60 pounds of zucchini. Also, last year the garden produced eggplants, pumpkins, and luffa.

Every year I change the type of plant in each bed, which helps the plants grow better. When your plants are in containers, there are even fewer problems. Just remove the old plant, top up with soil mix, add fertilizer, and you can grow the same type of plant again.
I’m sure you’ll succeed too.
